Dr. Md. Ashraful Haque Chowdhury is a dedicated and experienced hematologist with extensive clinical and laboratory expertise in the field of hematology and bone marrow transplantation.
He completed his MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College and achieved FCPS in Hematology from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS), following four years of intensive clinical and laboratory training at the Department of Hematology, Dhaka Medical College. He was a member of 1st Bone Marrow Transplant team at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Dr. Ashraful began his government service in 2010 and has since contributed significantly to patient care and medical services in both public and private sectors. He served as Assistant Registrar in the Department of Hematology and later worked as a Resident Physician in the Department of Hematology & Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. During his tenure, he was an active member of the Stem Cell Transplantation Team at the BMT Centre, gaining valuable experience in advanced hematological treatments and transplant care.
Dr Ashraful has vast experience on treating Hematological Diseases. He treats Thalassaemia , ITP, Auto Immune anaemia. He also treats Hematological Malignancy like Leukaemia, Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, CML, CLL.
He is a proud member of the Hematology Society of Bangladesh and the American Society of Hematology (ASH), reflecting his commitment to continuous professional development and staying up to date with global advancements in hematology. Dr. Ashraful joins Square Hospital as an Associate Consultant, Hematology.
